Yes. S & R Geotechniques is a NABL accredited testing laboratory vide Certificate No. TC-12577 (ISO/IEC 17025:2017), first accredited in 2017–18, for our laboratory at Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The accreditation covers the field and laboratory tests listed in our scope of accreditation, which can be viewed on the NABL website, nabl-india.org.
How deep can you drill for a geotechnical investigation?
We drill boreholes of 75, 100, 125 and 150 mm diameter up to 300 m deep, with Auto-SPT and undisturbed sampling. Our fleet includes 35+ hydraulic drilling rigs of 100 m and 200 m capacity.
What pile load test capacities do you offer?
Static vertical and cyclic pile load tests up to 5000 tons, bi-directional static load tests up to 12000 tons, lateral and pull-out tests up to 500 tons, and high strain dynamic load tests with test loads up to 2000 tons.
Do you carry out offshore geotechnical investigation?
Yes. We carry out onshore and offshore investigation, including jack-up barge investigation for the Versova–Bandra Sea Link and the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link.
Which non-destructive tests do you perform on piles and concrete?
Pile integrity test, high strain dynamic load test (ASTM), dynamic pile load test (IRC), cross hole sonic logging, rebound hammer, UPV, underwater NDT, cover meter, half-cell potential, carbonation depth, CAPO, pull-out and core tests. We also test metals and alloys by magnetic particle, liquid penetrant and ultrasonic methods.
Which geophysical tests do you offer?
MASW, ReMi, seismic refraction and reflection, cross-hole and down-hole tests, electrical resistivity imaging (ERT), TEM, GPR and thermal resistivity, plus borehole logging such as P-S logging, sonic, density and optical imaging.
Do you test hydraulic jacks and load cells?
Yes. We test the efficiency and deviation of hydraulic jacks and load cells up to 500 tons (5000 kN): flat, lifting, solid ram and hollow ram jacks.

Across India, with projects in more than 30 states and union territories, and internationally in Guyana, Qatar, Dubai, Australia and the Maldives. Our head office is in Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
