Bi-Directional Pile Load Tests
O-Cell (Osterberg) equivalent bi-directional static load tests up to 12000 t, with Albatech Testing Services LLP.
Bi-Directional Pile Load Tests at SRGPL
We have partnered with Albatech Testing Services LLP, a UAE-based testing services firm, which brings the expertise of “O-Cell” Osterberg-equivalent pile tests.
The BDSLT cell is a jack-like device installed sacrificially within the foundation element. It is specifically engineered to have negligible internal friction, even with eccentric movement. The cell's position within the foundation is set according to the test programme. A typical level is chosen where the capacity above and below the cell is equal, which maximises the load that can be mobilised during the test.

Often combined with Bi-Directional Pile Load Tests
Pile Load TestsStatic vertical load tests up to 5000 t, bi-directional up to 12000 t, lateral, cyclic, pull-out and plate load tests.
Hydraulic Jacks and Load CellsEfficiency testing and deviation of hydraulic jacks and load cells up to 500 t (5000 kN).
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)Pile integrity, high strain dynamic load test, CHSL, rebound hammer, UPV, half-cell potential and core testing.
In-Situ TestsPlate, stone column, footing and bridge load tests, CPTu, k-value, Ev2 and pressuremeter tests.
