Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
Pile integrity, high strain dynamic load test, CHSL, rebound hammer, UPV, half-cell potential and core testing.
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) at SRGPL
Non-destructive tests tell you whether piles and concrete structures are sound without damaging them. Our NDT team tests foundations during construction and assesses existing structures for distress, durability and remaining strength.
Results are reported with clear acceptance criteria, and where defects are found we can support rectification as a one-stop provider.

We specialise in the following non-destructive tests
16 items- 01Pile Integrity Test
- 02High Strain Dynamic Load Test as per ASTM
- 03Dynamic Pile Load Test as per IRC
- 04Cross Hole Sonic Logging (CHSL) Test
- 05Rebound Hammer Test
- 06Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Test
- 07Underwater NDT: Rebound Hammer & Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity
- 08Cover Meter Test: Rebar Mapping, Bar Dimension Testing & Cover Spacing
- 09Half-Cell Potential
- 10Resistivity of Concrete
- 11Carbonation Depth
- 12Concrete Pull-Out Test
- 13Deflection Measurement Test using Opto-electric Sensor
- 14Concrete Cut and Pull Out (CAPO) Test
- 15Load Test on Flexural Member

When NDT is the right call
During piling
Pile integrity, CHSL and high strain dynamic tests confirm pile quality and capacity while the rig is still on site.
Before acceptance
Test results give clients and consultants the evidence they need to accept piles and structural members.
Existing structures
Rebound hammer, UPV, half-cell potential, carbonation and cover tests assess strength, durability and corrosion risk without demolition.
One provider from test to repair
If a defect is found, our CHSL tube cleaning, proof coring and pile rectification teams can take it forward.
Often combined with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
Pile Load TestsStatic vertical load tests up to 5000 t, bi-directional up to 12000 t, lateral, cyclic, pull-out and plate load tests.
CHSL Tube CleaningClearing blocked sonic logging tubes so CHSL testing can go ahead: a one-stop service for piles.
Pile RectificationTailored repair and correction of defective piles, from settlement and damage to design deficiencies.
Forensic Geotechnical ServicesRoot-cause investigation of foundation, slope and settlement failures, with remedial recommendations.
